A loose or broken cable needs a system inspection
Lift cables work with the spring system to support and move the door. A slack cable or a door hanging unevenly can involve the cable, drum, spring or track. Replacing the visible cable without checking the cause may leave the original problem unresolved.
Door tilts or binds in the opening
Keep clear and describe which side is lower when you call. The door must be made safe before the cable and related hardware are evaluated.
Cable issue returns after an earlier repair
Explain the previous work so the inspection can consider the underlying balance, alignment and hardware condition.
